Homebody DIY is hosting a Burlap Embroidery Workshop! If you have been really hoping to learn how to embroider but have been hesitant to start, this is your time! I will set you up with all the materials to make embroidery chunky, easy and fun and also on burlap! This allows us to use a blunt needle instead of a sharp one. This will allow you to also have some fun with a more “serious” craft. Choose from different patterns and colors and you will learn all that is needed to know about the wonderful craft of embroidery.

Each session, we’ll carefully read and admire a short story as a group and take our sweet time to discuss it; then, we’ll sit down for a workshop where you can receive supportive feedback on your story.

Homebody DIY welcomes YOU to their weekly Comic Drawing Workshop! Join local comic artist and illustrator, Christian Garnett, to learn traditional comic strip creation, from storyboarding, paneling, and sketching to line art, text, and color. Prompts and ideas will be provided (every month there's a new theme!), but students are encouraged to come with their own story, poetry, song, or anything else sourced from home or the internet

You will also learn finishing techniques.
