Owner Tamy Chung grew up in the restaurant biz, loving food. At a young age, she learned how to make a whole range of cookies from chocolate chip to lemon drop to thumb print, before stumbling upon the French macaron. Intrigued by its delicate nature, she challenged herself to make the very finicky confection.
The first batch was taste-tested on friends and coworkers. After one tester encouraged her to pursue her passion further, she popped up at the Somerville Flea in June 2016, and the rest is history.
