Mizuhiki is a traditional craft that has been used to wrap gifts for over 1500 years. Multiple stiff paper cords are used to wrap and create specific types of ribbons and knots. In recent years, it has been used not only for gift decorations, but also for accessories and everyday items.
In this workshop, we will focus on creating a chopstick rest with Mizuhiki cords. Let’s expose ourselves to Japanese culture and learn about Mizuhiki!
*Basic Tools and materials will be provided.
