Lunar New Year Night Market

Join us for our Lunar New Year Night Market to welcome the year of the Snake on Thursday, January 30th from 5-9pm! Brought to you by maca boston, Tiny Turns Paperie, and Upstairs at Bow. Enjoy food & drink specials from your favorite Bow Market restaurants. Shop our local AAPI maker market in Upstairs at Bow. Don’t miss the courtyard performance by NüWa Lion Dance at 7pm.

Japanese New Year

Sunday, January 19th from 12-3pm

Nagomi Bento and Ko-Kyoto will be hosting a Japanese New Year celebration (新年会) at Bow Market.

Join us for a special Kakizome (書初め) Calligraphy Workshop with Ko-Kyoto. Kakizome is a traditional New Year’s activity in Japan where we write our first characters of the year, often our New Year’s resolution. ✨ A Sensei will guide you through this meaningful tradition! They’ll be offering two calligraphy workshops, one at 12 PM and another at 2 PM. Stop by to watch or join in the fun.

Nagomi Bento will also be serving a delicious bowl of Zoni (お雑煮), a special New Year’s soup with rice cakes🥢 We'll be making our own unique version, so come taste the tradition!

Nibble Kitchen Supper Club Series 2025

Let the Nibble Team take care of Sunday Dinner and take your tastebuds on a global adventure this New Year! This year’s Supper Club series highlights a crew of Women Chefs, offering delicious bites from Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Laos, Bangladesh, and Ghana.

Every Sunday, starting 1/19 until 2/16, one of our Nibble partner-Chefs will offer a full dinner menu complete with appetizer and entrée, along with a selection of á la carte add-ons, for pre-order. More info at the link below.

Lunar New Year Macaron Pre-order


Lunar New Year is on Weds 1/29 and we are celebrating the Year of the Snake. Preorder from maca boston by TOMORROW 1/15 to guarantee our core LNY box and characters! Red envelopes will be available in store starting Jan 18th.

THOtBOt Implantation Center Pop-up

End of January and running through the end of Feb

Local artist Rebecca Kopycinski brings the ThotBot Implantation Center, her immersive multimedia performance, back to Bow Market (first viewed here in 2020).

The ThotBot Implantation Center is but one of many Episodes in Kopycinski’s ThotBot Storyverse. In addition to this installation, there are also an interactive theater show, a multimedia musical, and a scripted fiction podcast.

Currently there are twelve shows scheduled starting January 30th and running through February 22nd and they are almost sold out to grab tix ASAP.

New Year's Craft & Sensory Workshop with Joy Harper

Sunday, January 19th 10am - 1pm

Young ones can join childhood expert Joy Harper for a morning of Winter themed play and sensory games. Parents can kick back with drinks from the bar and grab coffee or bites from Bow Market vendors while the little ones dive into a world of play.

Saturday Disco Yoga at Upstairs at Bow

Saturday, January 25th noon-1:15pm

All levels yoga class under the greenery and disco ball in Upstairs at Bow. As the disco ball spins will build energy to a disco playlist. Class will end with an extended shavasana.

Must bring your own yoga mat.

Class is taught by Zola of Be Easy Meditation. $5 from every ticket will go to St. Mary's Center for Women & Families. St. Mary's Center partners with women and families as they ascend to a more thriving, stable future.

Witch-Craft Cinema: "The Craft" @ Side Quest Books & Games

Thursday, January 23rd from 7-9:30pm

This month's Witch-Craft Cinema at Side Quest Books & Games is screening "The Craft"! Join us for a campy, crafty night of fun. Pentagram punch-needle kits from Homebody DIY will be available for purchase on the night!

Side Quest Books & Games is located on the balcony of Bow Market. There is an elevator available in the Bow Market lobby, which is to the right of Pop's Pinball Parlor.

Outside food and drink are allowed.

Beginner Kintsugi Workshops

1/22 (Wed)   6:00pm - 9:00pm

1/25 (Sat)     4:00pm - 7:00pm

1/29 (Wed)  10:00am - 1:00pm

Ko-Kyoto’s most popular workshop is available three times this month! Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese craft of repairing pottery, where the visible mending becomes a beautiful and organic part of the aesthetic of the pottery. Due to time constraints, we will use modern adhesives as well as traditional urushi lacquer. A signed waiver form is required to attend this workshop.
