CALL FOR ART

 
 

ARTISTS! BOW MARKET IS COMMISSIONING A NEW PIECE OF PUBLIC ART FOR A PROMINENT EXTERIOR WALL AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE MARKET.

OUR THEME: “SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL.”

 

Details of the call

Theme: “Small is Beautiful”

Scale: Between 6’ - 9’ wide x 6’ - 9’ feet long

Placement: The art will be hung outside. It should be able to survive the elements for at least twelve months.

Medium: Waterproof plywood panels that will be provided to you. (Bow Market takes responsibility for ensuring the boards stay attached to the wall.)

Payment: $5,000 for creation of original artwork on panels provided to you + 20 signed prints of the artwork at 1/10th scale. Plus, availability to assist with the installation of the work and opening reception.

Deadline to submit: Proposals will be accepted until May 1, 2024.
